I’ve recently read one of the best books out there.
I’m usually into novels, especially victorian ones and XVIII-XIX century France masterpieces. And unless it’s a book from that period, all the hype that might surround one would make me ignore it. So when Pascal Bruckener organized an authograph session and every possible magazine was writing about how great his Paradox of Love is, I naturally rolled my eyes.
So I decided to just read it and not judge it by its pinkish cover. And a great decision it was. The book has everything: philosophy, history, drama, religion, humour and, naturally, romance.
